  15. I've been trying to use TNSTART to launch a telnet session.  It seems to work 
  16. fine (providing the WinQVT/Net console is already running). 
  17.  
  18. What I would like to do though, is to use it to launch a telnet session using 
  19. a SETUP from the QVTNET.RC file rather than directly to an address.
  20.  
  21. For example, if I have a setup called "Sun Server" which I can use to launch a 
  22. session to our Sun Server (scot1.ucsalf.ac.uk) then I would like to be able to 
  23. use:
  24.  
  25.   tnstart "Sun Server"  (would use specially defined terminal characteristics)
  26.  
  27. rather than:
  28.  
  29.   tnstart SCOT1  (ie uses the default terminal characteristics)
  30.  
  31. Is this possible ?

  62. NEWTWatch desktop management package.
